Governors

In our school, Governors play a very active part in the life of the school. They meet at least once every term and work with the Headteacher and the staff to set high standards, agree on values and decide upon targets for making the school even better. Parent Governors are elected by the parents and serve, as other governors do, for up to four years. They are your representatives on the Governing Body and are always willing to listen and to make sure that communications with parents are both informative and easy to read.  The Governing board meet in sub committee meetings for staffing and finance and curriculum, standards and effectiveness.  They meet termly as a full Governing Board. Governors are welcomed to visit school to meet with subject leaders and the children to discuss teaching and learning in each subject.  Mr Tyson is our Chair of Governors and safeguarding governor.

We believe in building a strong partnership with parents and the local community in order to help every child in our school and we welcome your continued involvement and support.
